RN for outpatient Family Medicine Practice

You would need a generalist approach to your work, bringing many qualities that include integrity, professionalism, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
Other learned skills a plus: RN clinical and outpatient experience, phlebotomy experience, health focused, EMR and possibly direct primary care familiarity. We are willing to train a new graduate in these skills if you are the right person.
The office is a Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine practice. Personal interest in a healthy lifestyle is a major plus.

Responsibilities and duties include:
Direct patient care assistance: in person and virtually
Collection of vital signs
Administration of immunizations
Phlebotomy and specimen processing
Assistance with other patient care, testing and procedures
Assistance with pharmacy communication and medication reconciliation
Coordination of care with other medical offices and hospitals including referral management
Maintenance of accurate documentation of patient care and organized records and files
Interaction with insurance companies to start prior authorizations, review benefits coverage
Other skills as the practice develops
Desired qualifications and skills:
Associate or Bachelors Degree in Nursing
5 years plus experience in working in an outpatient medical practice
Excellent references
High level of professionalism
Strong customer service/patient experience skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer and mathematical competence
The ability to learn new software
The applicant should have willingness to learn new skills and expand their potential. Although on-site job training will be provided, the applicant should have experience with the above and the ability to present themselves professionally.
